Texas Restaurant Relief Fund

The Texas Restaurant Relief Fund was established through the Texas Restaurant Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on the education and development of Texas’ restaurant industry workforce, to respond to the financial crisis created by the COVID-19 pandemic. In the months that followed, the Texas Restaurant Relief Fund raised and distributed more than $3.5 million to support over 800 independent restaurants and their employees.

In keeping with the Texas Restaurant Relief Fund’s mission: To Provide Immediate Financial Relief To Texas' Independent Restaurateurs with Funds Designed To Save Employee Jobs, the Fund continues to raise money and provide grants to support independent restaurants when disaster strikes our state. And because the Fund is operated by a 501(c)(3), donations are tax-deductible, subject to applicable laws and IRS regulations.

Southern Smoke Foundation

The Southern Smoke Foundation assists employees of restaurants, bars, or restaurant/bar suppliers through its Emergency Relief Fund and its mental health services program.

World Central Kitchen

When disaster strikes, World Central Kitchen’s Chef Relief Team mobilizes to the front lines to start cooking and provide meals to people in need. WCK has provided tens of millions of fresh, nourishing meals for communities around the world.

Children of Restaurant Employees (CORE)

CORE provides grants to help food and beverage industry families bridge the financial gap during a qualifying crisis.

Mercy Chefs

Mercy Chefs responds to disasters and emergencies by deploying professional chefs to prepare high-quality, hot meals on mass for victims, first responders, and volunteers.
